The specs on your Kickstarter page states that the five front pads on the QuirkBot can do Capacitive Sensing or High Resistance Sensing (MaKey MaKey style sensing), depending on how it's programmed.
In the Robotic Creatures booklet I found a description on how to use a banana as interface using the Circuit Touch node. I assume this setup, where the conductive object completes the cirquit, is the High Resistance Sensing?
Can I use the Capacitive Sensing feature to make the QuirkBot register touch without providing a ground connection? Similar to the Capacitive Sensing of the Bare Conductive Touch Board: https://www.bareconductive.com/make/what-is-capacitive-sensing/
I would love to paint an interface with Bare Conductive Electric Paint and use the buttons as input for my QuirkBot. I just don't know if it's possible, and I don't know how to program it... I hope you can help!
