I was having problems getting the code to upload even after factory resetting, so I reinstalled Chrome.
After reinstalling Chrome, when I go to install QB dependencies Chrome itself tells me it works, but the QB dialog freezes and Chrome stops responding.
If I force quit and restart Chrome after this, the entire browser stops responding a couple of seconds after opening a CODE project, both existing ones and new, unsaved ones.
If I delete the QB software addon from Chrome, it stops freezing as described above, but it obviously doesn't let me upload code.
If I try to install dependeceies again, the same things happen again.
This behaviour has been consistent over three attempts.
Note: whenever it freezes (both cases described above), by the time I open task manager to force quit, it invariably has exactly six background processes running (compared to the usual 3 or 4), each using a different amount of memory between 1 and ~40MB but no disk, network or CPU usage. This is with exactly one tab open in Chrome, the one displaying code.quirkbot.com.
Since I am using a clean install of Chrome, I am using no addons other than the default ones.
I am using Windows 10, 64 bit.
Does anyone recognize this or have any tips?
